Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the at the time. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her first attempt. In 2003 Felix was a senior in high school and signed a professional deal with the sports company Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She was the youngest to win the 200 meters in the world championships held in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 by beating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She consistently placed in the top three of all events.
